Amsterdam Smart City is a compelling concept that triggers a lot of attention regionally, nationally and internationally. Because we want to satisfy the need for explanation of our work, we decided to create a place where we showcase our projects in a concrete and tangible manner. The Experience Lab is situated on the Marineterrein, where also the European Presidency takes place in the first half of 2016.
Basically the goal is to display several innovations in a ‘kijkdoos’ construction (a ‘kijkdoos’ is something extremely Dutch, https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kijkdoos). Information regarding the innovation will be displayed on a Smart ID Card – a brief information card with answers to several key questions. Around the exposition we are organising a series of lectures and workshops that explain the Smart City concept further. A web application will support the exposition online.
Do you have a solution that you want to show to the world? Send an email to email@example.com and ask for the possibilities.
