The office of Alliander in Duiven (Gelderland) is renewed. It is the first energy positive building in the Netherlands and has the highest BREEAM sustainability certificate: outstanding. The building is designed by Thomas Rau.
The building is mainly build by reusing materials like ceiling, toilets, and much more. 80 per cent of the materials in the old office is reused. Moreover, rainwater is used to flush toilets and work clothing is used for isolation.
